Clothing Program Volunteers

In addition to our generous communities, CAP is successful because of our wonderful volunteers.  CAP Volunteers give tirelessly of their time.  The volunteers sort donated clothing, shoes, socks, underwear, and other items needed to operational. Volunteers are also personal shoppers that assist clients in the Clothing Closet. If interested in volunteering, please email us at clothing@ltnlovethyneighbor.org.

In addition to our CAP volunteers that sort, we have many organizations in the community that provide volunteers:

  • Mrs. Stagemeyer’s Flower Mound High School Fashion Design Class makes handmade bears for CAP every year.  Children coming into our program can select a unique, one-of-a-kind, handmade bear to take home with them.
  • Bilingual Members of Lewisville High School Stu-Co and National Honor Society volunteer to assist Spanish speaking shoppers in the Clothing Closet.
  • LISD Focus on the Future young adults assist the CAP volunteers with sorting, folding, and hanging clothing.
  • Various churches help in the Clothing Closet as part of their monthly community service.
